Anna Drubich's new ballet

GREAT GATSBY will debut in February 2025.
This
coming Sunday at 3 PM, Dark Delicacies (822 N. Hollywood Way,
Burbank) will be hosting special signing event featuring all
Fear Street composers, who will be signing copies of Intrada's
recent 5CD set. If you can't make it in person and live in
either U.S. or Canada, you can also

Waxworks Records will release Anna's
score for BARBARIAN as a deluxe edition featuring 180
gram "Mother's Milk & Blood" splatter colored vinyl,
heavyweight gatefold jackets with matte satin coating and UV
spot-gloss varnish, new artwork by Steven Reeves, and an

announced CD world premiere of all three FEAR STREET scores.
Available as 5-CD set the ediion will be most likely available
to order next Monday afternoon PST from Intrada Records. Check

After the film has spent nearly two years
being tempered with by the producers, bringing new director
for the reshoots and
usual meddling with
a pretty much finished project, Marco Beltrami and Anna Drubich
are no longer involved with upcoming BALLERINA. While no new composer
has been announced, the usual same old John Wick team
is
the most likely to join the
project. But at this point, who
cares,
anyway...

form.
While there has been zero information about this
posted anywhere, eagerly anticipated release of Anna's score
for MASTER I MARGARITA has appeared on iTunes over 2
months ago. The
second album (released last week) is Anna's music
for one woman stage show NADEZHDINY - starring and by Maria
Mashkova. An autobiographical family saga based on the diary
entries of the Mashkovs’ great-great-grandmother, Mili
Zelenskaya, from Chisinau. The unknown Chisinau family history
took place at the turn of the era, in a place of peace in the
midst of war. She talks about the ancestors of Masha Mashkova,
whose great-great-grandfather was the revolutionary Yevgeny
Zelensky under the pseudonym Nadezhdin.
1) TIME CUT - sci-fi thriller produced by
Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day) about a high school
student who accidentally travels back to 2003 and decides to
stop the serial killer who murdered her sister. Expected to be
released by Netflix later this year.
2) BRICK - sci-fi about a couple whose
apartment building is suddenly surrounded by a mysterious
brick wall and who must work with their neighbors to find a
way out. Expected to be released in 2025. In
post-production.
3) OVERRIDE -
no plot details or release date are currently available.

It has been confirmed today that
MovieScore Media will release Anna Drubich's score for STING.
Score album will be released by the label on April 12 and CD-R
on demand edition is also expected.
STING will be released in
U.S. theaters by Well Go USA Entertainment on
the same date.
The film
is written and directed by Kiah Roache-Turner (Wyrmwood: Road
of the Dead, Nektrotonic) and stars Ryan Corr, Alyla
Browne, Penelope Mitchell, Noni Hazelhurst, Robyn Nevin, Danny Kim, Silvia
Colloca and Jermaine Fowler. The movie follows
a 12-year-old girl who raises an unnervingly talented
spider in secret and must fight for her
family’s survival when the creature rapidly transforms into a giant,
flesh-eating monster. Jamie Hilton
(Breath, Devil’s Peak), Michael Pontin (OtherLife, June Again)
and Chris Brown (Daybreakers, The Railway Man) are producing
the See Pictures and Pictures in Paradise production.
While Soundtrack album is still in the works,
the U.S. premiere of controversial epic fantasy THE MASTER AND
MARGARITA will take place tomorrow in New York. Learn more

Rather disappointing
news today regarding upcoming BALLERINA, which is being
delayed whole year because of reshoots. Check for example Collider for the
details. Lionsgate has set new release date for June 7,
2025.
While a long way from
being completed, the first pages of this website had been
launched today.
Anna Drubich is
composing the original music for the upcoming horror thriller
DESERT ROAD. The film is written and directed by Shannon
Triplett and stars Kristine Froseth, Frances Fisher, Beau
Bridges, D.B. Woodside, Ryan Hurst, Max Mattern, Edwin Garcia
II and Ratchel Dratch. The movie follows a young woman who
crashes her car and walks down the road seeking help, only to
find no matter which way she walks she ends up back at her
car. Steven Schneider (Insidious, Pet Sematary) is producing
the project with Josh Clayton, Kirk Martin, Alec Roth, Lauren
Bates (The Pretenders) and Sam Cohan.
DESERT
ROAD will premiere this March at the 2024 SXSW Film
Festival.
Anna Drubich & Jongnic Bontemps
(Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, 4400, My Name Is Pauli
Murray, Redfall) have teamed up to score the upcoming
documentary THE SPACE RACE. The film is directed by Diego
Hurtado de Mendoza (The Redeem Team) & Lisa Cortés (Little
Richard: I Am Everything, All In: The Fight for Democracy) and
explores the experiences of the first Black astronauts. The
movie features interviews with Ed Dwight, Charles Bolden,
Guion Bluford & Victor Glover and spotlights the
oft-omitted racial injustice narratives and present-day
realities of these pioneers. Cortés & Hurtado de Mendoza
are also producing the National Geographic Documentary Films
production with Keero Birla, Alexandra Bowen, Aly Parker, as
well as Mark Monroe (UFO, The Dissident). Frank Marshall
(Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Sixth Sense) serves as an
executive producer.
THE SPACE RACE is premiering
today at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival and is expected to be
released later this year.
Marco Beltrami (A Quiet Place, Logan,
Scream, 3:10 to Yuma, The Hurt Locker, Ford v. Ferrari, The
Wolverine) has revealed during a recent interview on Film
Music Live that he is teaming up with Anna Drubich to
score the upcoming John Wick spinoff feature Ballerina. The
film is directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld, Total Recall) and
stars Ana de Armas, Anjelica Huston, Lance Reddick, Gabriel
Byrne, Norman Reedus, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Ian McShane, as
well as Keanu Reeves. The action thriller follows the titular
assassin (first introduced in the third John Wick installment)
trained in the traditions of the Ruska Roma as she sets out to
avenge her familyShay Hatten (Army of the Dead, Day Shift)
wrote the screenplay based on characters created by Derek
Kolstad. Thunder Road Pictures’ Basil Iwanyk (Sicario, The
Town) & Erica Lee (Bruised, The Contractor) are producing
the project with John Wick director Chad Stahelski. Beltrami
has previously collaborated with Wiseman on 2006’s Underworld:
Evolution and 2007’s Live Free or Die Hard.
BALLERINA is set to be released
in theaters nationwide on June 7, 2025 by
Lionsgate.
