2026: March 03: new project announced,
release date for MORIAH WILSON

In recent interview (see
February 27th post) Marco Beltrami confirmed he is close to
finishing his score for UNABOMB and next he should reunite with
director Jean-Francois Richet scoring his historical drama
QUASIMODO. Rather than adapting Victor Hugo's classic, the
film focuses on author real-live inspirations and stars
Vincent Cassel in the titular role. Set n 1830 Paris, amid
cholera and brewing revolution, the real-life inspiration for
Hugo's Quasimodo finds himself torn between political upheaval
and forbidden romance.
The movie marks 5th
collaboration between Marco Beltrami and
Jean-Francois Richet following two Mesrine movies, L'Empereur de
Paris and Plane. The other upcoming Richet film,
Mutiny starring Jason Statham, will be released this summer with original score composed
by Marcus Trumpp and produced by Marco
Beltrami. QUASIMODO is currently in post-production and
expected to be released by Neflix this Fall.
In other news THE TRUTH AND
TRAGEDY OF MORIAH WILSON will have its world premiere next
week during SXSW Film Festival and is supposed to land
on Netflix a few months later. No trailer, poster or
details regarding its wide release have been announced so
far. For those in the area, here is the info regarding film's planned screenings at
SXSW.
2026: February 27: no
release of SCREAM 7 on the way... new interview coming
soon
In a rather surprising turn of the
events, no score album for SCREAM 7 has been released yet and
currently there is no label attached to release it. Here is
Marco's comment about the issues from his instagram. "I
want to apologize to all the Scream 7 fans that there is
currently no score album yet as there is still no record
company attached to release it. We’re doing everything we can
on our end to make it possible but it is out of my control
unfortunately. I will continue to push to make sure the fans
get a full album release." Head over to Marco's instagram

CD release date announced / pre-orders available
Warber Classics will
finally release PICTURES AT AN EXHIBITON: THE PAINTINGS OF BOB
PEAK CD on March 6th. The album (including pieces by Modest
Mussorgsky, Maria Newman, Mychael Danna, Harry
Gregson-Williams, Ihab Darwish, Jeff Beal, Marco Beltrami,
Michael Abels, Marc Shaiman, Don Davis and Bill Conti) is

2025: December 28: The only
interview published in 2025 (?)
While this year was rather
sparse when it comes to new releases of Marco Beltrami's music
(especially considering disasterour lack of releases for THE
UNHOLY TRINITY and DEAF PRESIDENT NOW!), there wasn't that
much publicity either and the only intervew (at least as far
as I know) published this year went without much of a notice.
Released late August, Marco was interviewed for The Jeremiah
Show presented by Carol Connors. You can listen to the
interview on Apple or Podbeam where the episode is also available to

2025: November 17: Marco Beltrami's
Bob Peak piece finally released
Warner Classics has finally released
Marco Beltrami's single for upcoming Pictures at an Exhibition
the Paintings of Bob Peak album, which is expected to be
released next Spring. Check the single below. Here is also a
little quote from Marco about origins of this piece: "I
took the keyboard pattern and harmony from Bach as a starting
point and changed the tempo and development — almost as if
Bach provided the raw materials from which I could create my
own narrative and meaning. I feature a lot of soloists in the
work, sometimes on their own, sometimes in tandem, mimicking
the idea of kids playing together—sometimes running off on
their own, sometimes coming together as a
group."

2025: October 08: Two new projects
announced
Marco Beltrami has recently
finished scoring upcoming true-crime documentary about the
murder of young professional cyclist Anna Moriah "Mo" Wilson.
THE TRUTH AND TRAGEDY OF MORIAH WILSON is directed by Marina
Zenovich (Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired) and produced by
Anomaly Content & Entertainment. So far no release date
has been announced. The score was co-composed by Marco, his
son Tristan (with his usual collaborator Ben Babylon), who
previously worked together on various projects including THE
UNHOLY TRINITY, SILENT NIGHT and TV miniseries CALL ME TED
about the life and legacy of Ted Turner, for which Marco
Beltrami and Buck Sanders provided main theme, while
Tristan Beltrami and Ben Babylon co-composed the rest of the
score.
Coming up next and currently in the works is
action drama UNABOMB, starring Russell Crowe and Shailene
Woodley. The movie is directed by Janus Metz (Andor, All the
Old Knives) based on the script by Sam Chalsen and Nelson
Greaves (Sleepy Hollow). Following the true story of Ted
Kaczynski, a Harvard student who became the unabomber
after psychological experiments. Years later, an FBI agent's
pursuit reveals how his past shaped his deadly campaign from
1978-1995. 2.0 Entertainment, IM Global and MRC Film
co-production UNABOMB is currently in post-production and will
be released by Netflix in the US and GEM Entertainment in
select other countries. More details regarding both upcoming
projects will be added as soon as
available.
2025: August 25: SCREAM 7 score recorded,
first clips SCREAM 7 score has finished
recording in Budapest, Hungary last week. Head over to

will be released by Paramount Pictures on February 27, 2026.
2025: May 22: NINE PERFECT
STRANGERS: SEASON 2 score release After the Deaf President Now! fiasco,
Lakeshore Records will be releasing NINE PERFECT STRANGERS:
SEASON 2 score album tomorrow. The album will feature 51
minutes of music co-composed by Marco and Miles Hankins. Full
details coming later this week. The first two episodes of the
2nd season are currently streaming on Hulu,
with following episodes coming weekly.
2025: May 17: DEAF PRESIDENT NOW!

soundtrack album, you can at least check a few samples from
DEAF PRESIDENT NOW! score on Marco Beltrami's official
website. The movie is currently streaming on Apple TV+
worldwide.
2025: May 02: Three new projects coming
this summer Finally some positive news
regarding several projects that have been in the works for the
past several months or finished during later portion of last
year, which are now finally getting closer to their release
dates: 1) Coming later this month
DEAF PRESIDENT NOW!, documentary by Nyle DiMarco and Davis
Guggenheim, had its world premiere during Sundance Festival
and later was doing a festival route in both U.S and E.U. It
will finally reach wider audience on May 16th on Apple TV+.
Marco and Buck Sanders co-composed the score. 2) only a few days later, the second
season of NINE PERFECT STRANGERS will premiere its first
two episodes on May 21 on Hulu and will continue with one
episode every week. Marco and Miles Hankins have joined
forces again to score all 8 episodes of the 2nd season. 3) this summer will be finally rounded up
by wide release of THE UNHOLY TRINITY, western starring Samuel
L. Jackson and Pierce Brosnan. Saban Films will release the
movie on June 13th.
So far there has been no development with
long-anticipated release of THE ROYAL STUNT and there is a few
more project awaiting their final confirmation. Stay tuned for
details, which will be added as soon as available.
2025: April 27: SCREAM 7
confirmed Marco Beltrami has confirmed he will be
back next year for SCREAM 7. The movie, which is currently in
production, also marks the return of original
writer/producer Kevin Williamson, who created whole series 30
years ago. Paramount Pictures will release SCREAM 7 on
February 27, 2026.
2025: March 10: BACH BY BELTRAMI is
back! Selected pieces from Marco Beltrami's
BACH BY BELTRAMI project are coming back to concert stage and
will be performed by K-17 concerts at The Moroccan Room of
Village Studio in Los Anageles on April 27th. For more details

2025: March 26: BLADE II vinyl
release announced While it has been rather
quiet about new and recent projects (only release date for
upcoming DEAF PRESIDENT NOW! has been announced for May 16),
Varese Sarabande has just announced world premiere vinyl
release of their BLADE II Deluxe Edition. Both Blade and Blade
II Deluxe Editions, featuring the complete film scores with
every cue, will be pressed on “Bloodbath” red vinyl
exclusively at Barnes
& Noble and “Blood Splatter” clear and black
translucent vinyl—limited to 500 copies— through the Varese
Sarabande store. Both titles come in 2-LP gatefold
packages adorned with brand-new artwork by acclaimed
illustrator Micha Huigen. Release date: May
16th.
2025: January 23: Fundraising
concert for musicians affected by L.A. fires Marco Beltrami and several other
composers will participate in upcoming fundraising event of
K-17 concerts to benefit the musicians who have been affected
by the recent L.A. fires. The others who will conduct their
pieces at Fire Relief benefit concert on February 8th include
Anna Drubich, James Newton Howard, Harry Gregson-Williams,
Peter Golub, Stephanie Economou and Aaron Zigman. To find out
