for scoring Ben Stiller's action comedy Tropic Thunder. You can

the meantime, Did you hear about the Morgans? was released in
theatres but there is no information regarding possible soundtrack album.

NEW SAMPLE:
JENNIFER´S BODY date: December 25th, 2009 One brief sample from Theodore
Shapiro´s unreleased score from horror-comedy Jennifer´s body
has been added to the
samples in multimedia section. I have no idea where this sample is coming
from as there has been no news about possible regular or promotional
release of the score and certainly no score track is listed on the
soundtrack album. Anyway, it´s a pretty cool and modern score in typical
Shapiro fashion, so enjoy it while you can.
WEBSITE LAUNCHED date: November 29th, 2009 After planning this
website for a while (originally it was supposed to be website for Theodore
Shapiro and Teddy Castellucci), it is finally finished as
exclusive Theodore Shapiro website featuring three different
biographies, full discography and numerous samples from Shapiro´s
works including suite from his unreleased beautiful score for
Mysteries of Pittsburgh (unfortunately in worse quality than
the rest of the samples and featuring a few SFX-heavy moments). If you
have anything worth including or and suggestions, please, don´t
hesitate to let me know.

Barton) and his upcoming scores his includes new Hugh Grant-Sarah Jessice
Parker movie, Did you hear about the Morgans?

RECORDING
SESSIONS: YEAR ONE date: March 13th, 2009 The coverage of recent Year
One recording sessions is now available on ScoringSessions.com. The
score is described as a largely thematic score that utilizes strong brass
and hints of Middle-Eastern stylings. Shapiro's contemporary approach to
the music is also felt through his utilization of pre-recorded band
elements, including flutes and bowed Middle-Eastern instruments (A.J.
Racy), guitar (Joel Shearer and George Doering), drums (John Robinson),
flutes and didgeridoo (Pedro Eustache), bass (Neil Stubenhaus, oud (Ludwig
Goransson), and percussion (Mike Fisher and Brian Kilgore). Read the whole
